Public Policy Committee The Public Policy Committee works to advance the CPA profession through proactive engagement with the Nebraska Legislature. Through advocacy and expert guidance, the committee educates legislators and engages with key stakeholders to influence policy decisions that best serve the public and the accounting profession. In addition, the committee assists with the Society’s lobbying activities and evaluates legislation to guide the advocacy efforts of the Society. Shawn A.
