GETTING TO KNOW Bobby Kisselback: Kisselback Ford, CFADA Curent Chair Bobby Kisselback Chair CFADA How did you become a car dealer? Did you always aspire to be part of the automotive industry? I’ve been around the car business for a while. Don Mealey invited me to be a part of his management team back in 1987. I started at Don Mealey Chevrolet in Orlando, Florida, and over the years held multiple management positions within the Mealey organization. I fell in love with the business and I’ve been in love with it ever since! In 2011, I was presented with the opportunity to purchase my own deal- ership. I was able to put the deal together and we closed on the dealer- ship in June of the same year. Do you have family members in the auto industry? My son, Sean, joined the team five years ago. He is dedicated, and doing a great job as our preowned vehicle manager. I’m happy he also loves the business. Describe your education background. What did you study? I earned an associates degree degree in business administration, a very long time ago. 8 Issue 1 2019
