MARKETING IN 2019: THREE TIPS TO HELP YOUR MARKETING STRATEGY 1. Diversify marketing channels. Consider what is offer- ing more value for the money. Consumers use mul- tiple channels daily, but they are not compelled to purchase from every channel. For example, they may see an ad on tv and ignore it. They may see a similar ad for the same product on Twitter and decide to buy and vice versa. Where one consumer buys may be different than another. • Keep in mind that consumers are everywhere so you should be as well. You need to advertise in multiple channels rather than concentrating on only one channel to try to improve marketing ROI. 2. Watch your spending. More spending is not always better. ROI for digital marketing is not the same as ROI for television, radio, and print. Some stores have opted for concentrating more funds on one channel and diversifying the remainder of their budget to keep a presence in the other channels.
