CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE IN THIS BUSINESS TOGETHER My fellow dealers and friends in the industry, It seems like this industry is always changing — and just as we get our hands around what’s in front of us, look out ahead! The one constant we can always rely on is the resilience of dealers across the state to respond. With interest rates and inventories high, we are all reminded that we are in this business together. As this year’s AADA chairman, I have made it my focus to engage the dealer community to come together as a strong force for our communities. For 92 years, AADA has represented automobile and heavy truck dealers in every corner of the state. Currently there are over 250 dealers providing critical jobs, large investments, generous charitable efforts and generally serving as an economic engine for the state. I have seen first-hand the benefit of having a strong partner in AADA as well as friendships with my fellow dealers to help give us advice and guidance through challenging times. This community of dealers is the most valuable asset we have as an industry. The most important way to ensure this network of dealers remains strong is to become an active participant in AADA. AADA is truly YOUR association. However, it can only be strong if each dealer is willing to give up a little bit of time to engage. I would encourage each of you to take a little time to get to know your association and you will truly see how valuable this resource is for all of us. It is a privilege to be able to serve you as chairman and I thank you for allowing me this opportunity. Never hesitate to call me or the great staff at AADA if you have any questions or need help.
