Colorado Bankers Association Elects Leadership for 2016-17 Year Bankers at the 2016 CBA annual meeting voted unanimously to elect three of their own to lead the Colorado Bankers Association in the coming year. David Kelly, chief risk officer for FirstBank will serve as CBA chairman for the 2016-2017 year. He will be assisted by Mark Driscoll, Colorado market president of First National Bank who will serve as CBA chair-elect and by Bob Ostertag, EVP and CCO of Colorado Business Bank who will serve as CBA Treasurer. Kelly said he is looking forward to building upon the good work of his predecessors, including Mark Bower, EVP and COO of Home State Bank, who he succeeds in the role. He said bankers, their customers and communities must all pull together – particularly in an election year – to advocate for their banks. “I’m excited for the future, “Kelly said. “The ground work has already been laid. Now we need to make sure we use our voice to get the right candidates elected and hold them accountable,” he said. “In order to achieve reasonable, responsible (regulatory) reform, it’s going to take ev- erybody to get this through.” COLORADO BANKERS ASSOCIATION
