Hope Harbor Midwest City A new multifamily affordable housing neighborhood is being developed by Harbor House Foundation and Capital for Compassion at 2222 North Douglas Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK.  Highly affordable rents for persons earning 30%, 40%, 50% and 60% of the area median income  43 one-bedroom apartments, 625 square feet, rents ranging from $379 to $758 including utilities  43 two-bedroom apartments, 772 square feet, rents ranging from $454 to $909 including utilities  Full kitchen with appliances, bathroom, laundry, and storage closets in every unit  Bus stops are located adjacent to the apartments  Neighborhood amenities include restaurants, a Walmart Supercenter, a pharmacy, and numerous retail  Onsite community center for residents’ use On-site supportive and empowerment services to assist residents in being successful and good neighbors will be provided by Harbor House Foundation. Development cost of $11.5 million to be funded by OHFA tax credits, FHLB Affordable Housing Program, HUD loan, National Housing Trust Funds, and donations. Construction to start in early 2019, for occupancy in fall of 2019, conditioned on approval of tax credit funding.
