Developed and reviewed by our NH employment law partners, the guide is an easy to use over- view of critical areas of the hiring process, coupled with excellent resources like easy to incorporate draft letters and policies. NHADA wants our members to be ready for the big ramp up that will occur as our current situation rectifies itself. Now is a great time to take a look at your onboarding process and make sure you are covering the important bases. This is especially true for our members where hir- ing is only one of many important functions a person per- forms and or you don’t hire very often. While we suggest you incorporate the complete guidelines, we strongly encourage you to have these six critical components: The guideline, available free both electronically or hard copy with disk with fillable forms, has a copy of a NH NHADA ResourcesThat Must Be Incorporated Into Your Hiring Process specific job application developed by our NH employment law partners, so this is the one you should be using. Another important resource in the guide is the draft conditional job offer letter. This is a key piece of the process where important information and terms are doc- umented and signed off on. Its something the NHDOL wage and hour inspectors will be looking for when they are done sheltering. Along with the offer letter is a draft of a withdrawal of job offer letter in case things didn’t work out. NHADA Workers Compensation Trust members are required to perform time of hire drug testing. We often entertain questions from members regarding drug testing. Very often the member is behind the eight ball because they haven’t implemented a drug testing policy and drug testing policy.
