ALL THINGS GRANT REIMBURSEMENT This week, I was able to dive right into the job training grant that NHADA received to train existing employees in Automotive Tech- nology at NH community colleges. 14. HANDS-ON LEARNING TO HANDS-ONLINE LEARNING CHALLENGES AND TAKEAWAYS Friday, March 13th, started out like most Fridays; arrive at the college at 7 a.m, answer emails and get ready for the day. It was the Friday before Spring Break. We were preparing for a possi- ble closing if the COVID-19 virus came to NH but, we didn’t figure it to happen so fast. 17. NHADA/CCSNH: PARTNERS IN NEW AUTOMOTIVE APPRENTICE PROGRAM The NH Automobile Dealers Association is partnering with the Community College System of New Hampshire on a workforce development model to assist the automotive industry in hiring and training entry-level technicians. COVID-19: Q&A FOR DRIVE: NH The one piece of advice that I would give other automotive businesses would be to keep pushing. This pandemic has been a challenge for all of us. THE LEGISLATURE COMES TO A HALT As of this writing, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and out of an abundance of caution, the New Hampshire legislature is postponed for an unknown period of time.
