The Office carefully examines the title applications for accuracy and compliance with state and federal law, authorizes title production for all approved applications, and maintains the state repository for vehicle registration, title and lien records. The Office also administers the International Registration Plan, an agreement between the United States and Canada for the apportionment of registration fees for trucks and truck/ trailer combinations engaged in the interstate transportation of goods and materials. A huge step toward offering digital services constitutes the most recent implementation of a Mobile Driver’s License (mDL) service option, which provides customers with an entirely new and improved experience of accessing a digitized driver’s license and identification card. The streamlined web page at www.dfa.arkansas.gov/office/mydmv/ provides Arkansans access to state services related to vehicle registration renewal, vehicle sales tax payment, driver license duplicates, request for driver records, change of address, personalized plate application and more.
