CALIFORNIA USED VEHICLE MARKET 01. 02. The state used vehicle market increased 2.6 percent during the first nine months of this year versus year earlier. The new vehicle market was up 5.4 percent. As shown on the graph to the left, registrations for 7- to 10-year-old used vehicles increased 4.6 percent so far this year. The 4- to 6-year old market declined slightly. Toyota Camry, Tesla Model Y, and Toyota Corolla were the top three sellers among 4-years-old or newer used vehicles.
