CASA AUTO GROUP INVESTS IN THE FUTURE OF CANCER CARE Ronnie Lowenfield, CEO of Casa Auto Group, and his wife, Ashley Lowenfield, have committed a transformative $330,000 gift to establish the Ronald W. & E. Ashley Lowenfield Tumor Board Room at the future Fox Cancer Center at Texas Tech Health El Paso. “To us, this isn’t just about a room or a name on a wall. It’s about ensuring our families, neighbors and friends have world-class care, right here at home. It’s an investment in hope, in healing and in a brighter, healthier future for the place we are so honored to call home.” Once completed, the center will bring together cancer imaging, treatment, research, clinical trials and prevention programs under one roof. Each year, nearly 3,500 El Pasoans are diagnosed with cancer, and many families are forced to travel hundreds of miles for treatment, officials said. For those who cannot afford to leave town, access to specialized cancer care often remains out of reach. “These are my people who have supported us for 55 years,” Lowenfield said. “These are the people that I want to just continue to serve and bless as well.” COMMUNITY NEWS DEALERS’ CHOICE 32
