Norris, 78, retired vice president and commercial loan officer of the former Terre Haute First National Bank, died July 28. He retired from the bank in 1998 after 43 years of service. Norris had served the community as a past president of the Wabash Valley Officials Association, charter president of the Gateway Football Officials’ in memory of Association, member of the Elks Lodge 86 in Terre Haute and director of the American Red Cross in Terre Haute.
