6 GLANCDA Events 2026 Automotive Technology Competition for High School Seniors As part of GLANCDA’s workforce development efforts, high school seniors from across Los Angeles County showcased their technical knowledge and hands-on automotive skills at the Lions Automobilia Foundation & Museum. The competition connected aspiring technicians with dealership professionals while highlighting career opportunities in the automotive retail industry. Automotive Technology Career Day & Tool Scholarships Through its partnership with the CNCDA Foundation, GLANCDA supported the Automotive Technology Career Day at Long Beach City College and proudly presented tool scholarships to automotive technology students, investing in the future of the industry’s skilled workforce. Supporting Our Communities GLANCDA Executive Director Bob Smith, GLANCDA Board President Jeanne Brewer and GLANCDA Board Director Rinaldi Halim presented a $15,000 donation to Habitat for Humanity San Gabriel Valley to support the construction of homes for families displaced by the Eaton Fire.
