CONGRATULATIONS, GARY SCHOEPP MTADA Eagle Award Winner On Aug. 17, at the Montana Auto Dealers Association (MTADA) annual meeting, Gary Schoepp was awarded with the prestigious Eagle Award. Taken aback when photos of him and his wife, Karen, began appearing on the screen, Gary gradually realized what was happening. “It was a complete surprise,” said Gary, “It is an awesome honor to receive this kind of award from my fellow auto dealers.” The Eagle Award is sponsored by Assurant Dealer Services and the winner is hand‑selected by MTADA. The award statuette reads, “in recognition of your soaring achievement.” Gary was selected as someone who exemplifies selflessness — someone who not only gives back to their family and their business, but also to their community. MTADA staff proudly expressed appreciation, “Thank you, Gary, for creating not only a legacy in your community, but changing the lives and legacies of those around you.” Bruce Knudsen, the MTADA executive vice president, explained that the award is more about being an exemplary person than how many cars are sold. “Gary is beyond cool,” he said. Gary Schoepp puts his all into what he does. He actively dedicated his time to his service on the Sidney School board, serving for nine years. His roles in the community have varied, from being president, serving on the Sidney Chamber of Commerce board, ticket-taking, painting walls at the office, being a member of Richland Economic Development and being a strong supporter of the Richland County Fair & Rodeo — just to scratch the surface of his contributions. “We need to be part of the community,” Schoepp remarked. “This community, our community, has hundreds of opportunities to get involved. What we all need to do is get involved, just do it! Make someone’s life a bit better, including your own.” Thank you, Gary, and congratulations! The honor is well deserved!
