Kylie Conrad I will be attending Colorado State University as part of the class of 2029. I will pursue a degree in construction management with a minor in business. After I graduate, I plan on working in the residential construction industry, building someone’s dream home. Being a part of something bigger than myself has always been one of my goals, and being a female in a male dominated industry helping pave a way for young girls is one way I can achieve that. This scholarship has given me a start in making this goal a reality! Makayla Odette I just graduated from Ponderosa High School and will be attending Benedictine College this fall to play softball and study civil engineering. I value quality time with my friends and family and love the outdoors. Cody Maloney I am attending Colorado Mesa University Tech in Grand Junction and started my studies in August 2025. I am in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technician Program. I plan to gain experience through an internship and then work for a company after I graduate. I would ultimately like to return to a small town to open my own company. I am proud of my hard work and work ethic that I have demonstrated in my academics, jobs and extracurricular activities. I have been passionate about baseball, my leadership opportunities in my FFA chapter and my close relationships with my family and friends. I look forward to continuing with my passions and giving back to those around me. Construction ADVOCATE 47
