By prioritizing innovative and effective learning methodologies, the committee aims to strengthen professional competencies Government Affairs Committee Chair: Nicholas Siakotos, Risk Manager and Counsel, MTech Mechanical Purpose The Government Affairs Committee proactively reviews and helps establish the legislative agenda for the chapter. The committee is responsible for monitoring current and proposed legislative actions at both the local and state levels that impact members and the construction industry overall. The committee can then recommend lobbying activities to further the legislative agenda. Milestones The committee held a Construction Day at the Capitol in 2025 to create more awareness of the importance of open and fair competition to the industry.
