In Memory TERRY WAYNE ANDERSON March 29, 1973-Oct. 23, 2025 Terry Wayne Anderson, Vice President of Citizens State Bank in Burlington, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 23, 2025, at Coffey County Hospital. He was born on March 29, 1973, in Emporia as the son of Larry Wayne Anderson and Carol Jean Noonan. A lifelong resident of Burlington, Terry graduated from Burlington High School in 1991. He attended Allen County Community College before earning a Bachelor of Business from Emporia State University. He worked as an adjuster for Farm Bureau before beginning his career at Citizens State Bank. Besides the bank, Terry was active in raising cattle and farming. He also sold real estate and completed property appraisals. He was active in the community and volunteered with Coffey County Fire District No. 1. He was named the Kansas Bankers Association Grasslands Award winner in Coffey County in 2023. He is survived by his sons, Ty of Emporia and Brody of Wichita; his mother and stepfather, Carol and Ted Bartlett; his stepmother, Terri Anderson; his sister, Traci Larkin; and his extended family and many friends. 30
