I am proud to be a part of that. Why family medicine? What do you say to those considering other medical specialties? I love family medicine. It is a specialty that cares about patients but also the broader community. You can adapt your practice as you grow and change or as your patient and community needs evolve. But the greatest privilege of this specialty, I think, is the gift of knowing people over time, caring for them and walking their journey with them.
