I’m learning how to balance the increased email inbox and administrative demands, but I love that we have a program to be really proud of that trains new family physicians who are exceptionally well-prepared to care for our community. I am proud to be a part of that. Why family medicine? What do you say to those considering other medical specialties? I love family medicine. It is a specialty that cares about patients but also the broader community. You can adapt your practice as you grow and change or as your patient and community needs evolve. But the greatest privilege of this specialty, I think, is the gift of knowing people over time, caring for them and walking their journey with them.
