“Successful people are just ordinary people doing an extraordinary job. What fuels your vision is your attitude. Be the best that you can be.” — Rocky Bleier Rocky Bleier is an example of a modern hero who leads with strength, integrity and determination while maintaining his sense of humor. Success did not come easily for Bleier. He learned the value of humility and discovered that achieving meaningful goals requires perseverance, hard work and a willingness to overcome challenges. Bleier joined the Pittsburgh Steelers as a running back, but the transition was not easy. He struggled to meet the expectations of the position and quickly realized that talent alone would not be enough. To succeed, he learned to play smarter, adapt to challenges and became more strategic with his approach to obstacles that were in his way. Before completing his first season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Bleier was drafted into the U.S. Army and sent to serve in the Vietnam War. During his service, he suffered severe injuries from rifle fire and grenade fragments to his legs, leaving him barely able to walk. Despite the devastating setback, Bleier refused to give up on his football career. Through determination and relentless training, he overcame the obstacles in front of him and returned to the Steelers as a running back. His perseverance paid off as he helped lead the team to four Super Bowl championships. 2026 CONVENTION SPEAKER HIGHLIGHTS Rocky Bleier BEING THE BEST YOU CAN BE Today, Rocky Bleier divides his time between his construction company and traveling the country as a motivational speaker and author.
