O ur clients use their magazines for many purposes. We agree that short, urgent or time sensitive messaging is better done through email, magazines provide a quieter respite — an event for two if you will. You are in essence bringing your association to your member. Here are some ideas: The Messaging of Magazines Greater Los Angeles Auto Dealers Association used their latest issue for a more feel-good approach of the latest COVID-19 crisis. Their messaging was on point as they also featured one of their long-time members who is well known for thinking out of the box and seizing opportunities for reinventing his business strategies every few years. Texas Automobile Dealers Association (TADA) used their latest issue of their magazine to say goodbye and “job well done,” to their long-time president, who recently retired. The pages were filled with good wished and fond memories.
