Communication is critical during times of uncertainty. Now is the time to use all the tools in your toolbox. Email is great for urgent and quick messages. We would recommend that you send shorter messages and send them more frequently, as opposed to sending one long email. If your association has a print magazine — and if you are our client, you do — now is an excellent time to get an issue out. Don’t talk about the current state of the crisis; events are changing too fast for that. But you can give members stories about how other members are staying positive as they cope with problems, and you can share what other members are doing to weather the times. Good news will go a long way right now. Also, because you are sending out a print magazine, you are giving a tactile, association-branded experi - ence to your membership. You are providing members with something they can hold safely and immerse themselves in. Our client is right. Now is your moment. Now is the time. WOW, I LOVE this!
