Marhenke is president and chief executive officer of iAB Financial Bank, Fort Wayne, and of Independent Alliance Banks Inc. Additionally he serves on the boards of directors of both organizations. Marhenke has 35 years of banking experience. He served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Grabill Bank from 2000 to 2004, after having joined the bank in 1998 as vice president of business development; previously he was president of Norwest Bank, Bluffton. Marhenke serves on the American Bankers Association Community Bankers Council and previously served on the ABA Membership Council. He is an advisory member of the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, a member of the board of directors of the New Haven/Adams Township Park Department, and treasurer of the David Hefner International Exchange Fund. Marhenke previously served on the IBA board of directors in the capacity of ABA Membership Council representative. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Gregory Maxwell is president and chief executive officer of Farmers State Bank, Mentone. He was named to his position in 2006 after 25 years of prior experience in Bluffton, where he was president of The Old First National Bank and agricultural executive with National City Bank. He began his banking career in 1972 as a trainee with Rush County National Bank. Maxwell is chairman of the Kosciusko Economic Development Corp. and a member of the Warsaw Rotary Club. He is a graduate of Ball State University and of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Michael S. Zahn is president and chief executive officer of First Federal Savings Bank, Huntington. He was named president in 2005 and CEO in 2011. Previously Zahn served as senior underwriter for Cincinnati Financial Corp. from 1992 to 1996. He is a member of the boards of directors of the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce, of The Bowen Center, of Huntington County Economic Development, of the Parkview Huntington YMCA and of the Huntington University Foundation. Additionally he is a member of the Lime City Development Committee. Zahn earned an undergraduate degree from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Northwest Region Directors Patrick Duffey is president and chief executive officer of State Bank of Burnettsville. He joined the bank as lending officer in 1991 and was promoted to his current position in 2004. Duffey is president of the Goodfellows of White County and a member of the board of directors of the Greater Monticello Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau. He earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College. Karen I. Miller is president and chief executive officer of The Farmers Bank, Frankfort. She joined the bank in 1995 and has served as chief financial officer, senior vice president and executive vice president, prior to being named president and CEO in 2006. She previously was employed for nearly 10 years with Clinton County Bank & Trust, which later merged with Summit Bank and NBD; she served as loan review officer, chief financial officer and executive officer. Prior to her banking career, Miller was a staff accountant for nine years with the CPA firm of C.S. Oats Accountancy Corp., Lebanon. She is a member of the board of directors of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, a 30+ year member of the Indiana CPA Society, and she currently serves as president of Clinton County Partners in Progress. Additionally Miller serves as a board member of the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, as a board member of the Clinton County Community Foundation and as past president of Frankfort Main Street. She is a graduate of Ball State University. Arden L. Cramer is president and chief executive officer of Logansport Savings Bank, FSB. He has been in banking for more than 35 years and focused on commercial lending prior to becoming president/CEO in 2010. Cramer has served on numerous boards, including United Way campaign chair and board in Cass County, Chamber chair and board, and Economic Development chair and board. He currently is treasurer of the Region 4 Workforce Board and serves on the business advisory board for Indiana UniversityKokomo. Cramer is a graduate of Ball State University, of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin and of the American Bankers Association Commercial Lending Graduate School. Southeast Region Directors Dennis Wayman is chairman, president and chief executive officer of State Bank of Medora. He joined the bank as a file clerk in 1972 and was named CEO in 1982, president in 1991 and chairman in 2001. Wayman served as a member of the board and as secretary of the Community Foundation of Jackson County and is a past 10-year member of the board of the Medora Community School Corp. In addition to his banking career, he and his wife have been operating a combination laundry and car wash in Medora for more than 35 years. George W. Ferriell is president and chief executive officer of Bath State Bank and president of Bath State Bancorp. He joined the bank as operations officer in 1986 and since has served as executive vice president, security officer, compliance officer, personnel officer, head of the lending division and cashier. He was named to the board of directors of the bank in 1987 and of the holding company in 1988. Previously Ferriell was assistant manager at Household Finance Corp. from 1978 to 1980 and management trainee, branch manager and loan officer at First National Bank of
