Previously he was executive vice president, commercial and consumer banking, of Integra Bank, NA, Evansville, from 2001 to 2008. Brown served with U.S. Bank, Cincinnati — formerly Firstar Bank and Star Bank — from 1989 to 2001, most recently as senior vice president, consumer lending. He is a member of the boards of directors of the Greensburg Decatur County Economic Development Corp. and of the Indiana Community Business Credit Corp.; additionally he is a trustee of Cincinnati Christian University. Brown earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, an MBA from Xavier University and a diploma from the Consumer Bankers Association’s Graduate School of Retail Bank Management, where he currently serves as a faculty member. Southwest Region Directors Clay W. Ewing is president of German American, Jasper. He has more than 35 years of banking experience and joined German American in 1994 as president and chief executive officer of a subsidiary bank of the company. Ewing is active in regional economic development and currently serves as chairman of the Perry County Development Corp. and as a board member of the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana. He additionally serves on various other civic and community boards. Ewing is a graduate of Lockyear College and of The School for Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin. Kurt D. Rosenberger is president and chief executive officer of Our Community Bank, Spencer. He joined the bank in 1994 and served as vice president and chief financial officer, prior to being named president and CEO in 2002. Previously Rosenberger served as a federal thrift examiner and senior financial analyst for the Office of Thrift Supervision in Indianapolis from 1986 to 1994. He began his banking career in 1981 as a Peace Corps volunteer, assigned to a rural bank in the Philippines. Rosenberger currently serves on the IBA Service Corporation board of directors and on the board of governors of the Title Center of Indiana. He is a member of the Owen County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corp., of the board of directors and finance committee of the Owen County Family YMCA, and of the finance committee of the Owen County Community Foundation. Rosenberger earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. Matthew W. Howrey is president and chief executive officer of North Salem State Bank. Prior to joining the bank in 2008 as chief financial officer, he served as a bank examiner for the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions. Howrey’s civic involvement includes the Hendricks County Community Foundation, the Parks Foundation of Hendricks County and the Putnam County Economic Development Center.
