He joined the bank in 2011. Journay serves as board member of the Portland Foundation, Jay County Economic Development Foundation, Jay County Chamber Education Committee and Jay County Confinement Livestock Advisory Committee. He is a graduate of Purdue University and of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Christa Koons, deposit services/EFT processing manager, has been promoted to assistant vice president. She joined the bank in 2005 and has 18 years of banking experience. Nathan Liechty has joined the bank as agriculture lender. He serves as president of the Adams County Extension board, as a leader with the Adams County 4-H Dog Club and remains active with his family’s grain farming operation. Liechty earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and has completed the Midwest Agriculture School of Banking. Diana Stirratt, ECM/process improvement manager, has been promoted to assistant vice president. She joined the bank in 2013. Stirratt is a member of the Northeast Indiana Lean Manufacturing Network. She earned a Six Sigma black belt certification from Purdue University, a bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. Kyle White, Berne branch manager and loan officer, has been promoted to assistant vice president. He joined the bank in 2010. White is a member of the Berne Volunteer Fire Department and of the Junior Achievement of South Adams board. He also is active with South Adams baseball and the Berne Bears Travel Baseball organization. Crossroads Bank,Wabash Nate Fansher has been promoted to senior vice president of credit administration. He joined the bank in 2007 as credit analyst and was promoted to credit officer in 2010, to commercial loan operations manager later that year, and to vice president commercial loan operations in 2012. Fansher serves as board president of the United Fund of Wabash County. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Manchester University and completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Mick Fisher has been promoted to senior vice president and chief lending officer. He joined the bank in 2009 as vice president of commercial lending and was promoted to senior vice president and manager of commercial lending in 2010. Fisher has 43 years of lending experience, previously serving with MutualBank in Marion as vice president of business banking and regional lending manager. He earned an associate’s degree from Kemper Military School and College, is a graduate of the Indiana Bankers Association Commercial Lending School and attended Butler University. Fisher is a member of the IBA Forty Year Club. Emily Boardman has been promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer. She joined the bank as controller in 2007 and was promoted to CFO in 2009. A certified public accountant, she spent approximately five years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Indianapolis, in various positions, including senior associate. Boardman serves on the local economic development board and is treasurer of the Wabash Rotary Club. She earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Manchester University. Community First Bank of Indiana, Kokomo Tammy Burton has been promoted to assistant branch manager. She joined the bank in 2013 and has more than 30 years of retail management experience. Burton is active with the March of Dimes. The New Washington State Bank, Charlestown Karen Johnson has been promoted to branch manager, Henryville banking center. She joined the bank in 1983.
