He has 25 years of banking and management experience, serving previously as senior vice president in business banking, commercial banking and product management. Vessely earned a bachelor’s degree from Wabash College, an MBA from Indiana University and is a graduate of the Indiana Bankers Association Commercial Lending School and Agricultural Banking School. Al Qualey, president and chief operating officer of 1st Source specialty finance group, has been name president emeritus and chief adviser for the group. He remains a member of the bank’s strategic deployment committee and of the senior management, asset liability and credit policy committees. Chris Craft has been named president and chief operating officer of 1st Source specialty finance group. He previously was president of the auto/light truck and specialty finance group deposit divisions. Craft has 30 years of banking experience. He joined the bank in 1985 and later served as vice president of commercial banking; he returned to the bank in 2012 as president of the auto/light truck and specialty vehicle fleet divisions. Among other activities, Craft is active with the Indiana University-South Bend Alumni Association and with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes of North Central Indiana. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-South Bend and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, in addition to earning designations for chartered financial analyst and certified Treasury professional. Greg Brown, president of the specialty vehicle division, has been named president of the auto/light truck division of 1st Source specialty finance group. He joined the bank in 2014 and has 20 years of banking experience. Brown serves as board chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Elkhart County and as treasurer of Elcona Country Club. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Kim Richardson, branch manager, Hilltop banking center, has been promoted to vice president. She serves as board member and treasurer of the Southwest Michigan United Way and as instructor, advisory board member and past chairperson at the Cornerstone Alliance Women’s Business Center. Richardson is a graduate of Lake Michigan College, where she attended the Leadership Academy. Gary Jenswold, information technology operations division manager, has been promoted to vice president. He has 40 years of information technology experience with the bank. Jenswold attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin and holds a certificate in Supervisory Development from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Indiana Bankers Association Forty Year Club. Kathy Harris, business banker, has been promoted to assistant vice president, serving the Valparaiso area. She volunteers with the Duneland YMCA, Chesterton Duneland Kiwanis and Relay for Life Duneland. Harris attended Rock Hurst College. Chad Gentry, accounting manager, has been promoted to assistant vice president. He serves on the finance committee for St. Joseph High School and volunteers with Meals on Wheels. Gentry earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-South Bend. Lisa A. Misch, business banker and cash management specialist, has been promoted to officer, serving the Valparaiso area. She has 20 years of banking and credit experience. Misch serves with Meals on Wheels and Delta Theta Tau. She is a graduate of the IBA’s Commercial Lending School. Erik Clapsaddle has joined the bank’s investment adviser group as senior fixed-income portfolio manager. He has 10 years of experience in developing portfolio strategies. Clapsaddle earned a bachelor’s degree from York College of Pennsylvania and holds chartered financial analyst and certified financial planner designations.
