Jason Ernst is a commercial loan officer of First Financial Bank, NA, Terre Haute. He joined the bank in 2005, has served as installment loan adjustor and loan review analyst, and was promoted to his current role in 2012. Ernst serves on the board of CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center. He is credit risk certified by the Risk Management Association, and he has earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University. Billy Winter is vice president and loan officer of Bippus State Bank, Huntington. He has nine years of experience with the bank, primarily working in commercial and agricultural lending. Winter is a member of the Rotary Club of Huntington, a member and volunteer for the United Way of Huntington County Finance Committee, and a youth sports volunteer at the Huntington YMCA. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University. Additionally the following bankers serve on the FLD board of directors: President - Kristin Marcuccilli, STAR Bank, Fort Wayne FEATURE The Future Leadership Division (FLD) of the Indiana Bankers Association was created to promote the Hoosier banking industry by fostering growth and advancement for emerging bank leaders statewide. FLD offers networking, volunteer and educational opportunities to assist the next generation of industry leaders. In November the FLD hosted its third annual Leadership Conference to provide leadership training and networking for participants. In February, FLD will once again host a Day at the Statehouse, offering a chance to learn about the legislative process and meet with elected officials. The FLD is continually seeking new members; membership is free and available to all employees of IBA-member institutions. A certified public accountant, she joined the bank in 2007 as controller and was promoted to chief financial officer in 2009. Boardman serves as board member of the Economic Development Group of Wabash County and as board treaFLD Welcomes New Board Members The IBA Future Leadership Division is hosting the second annual “Day at the Statehouse,” scheduled to be held Feb. 9. The event will begin with an introduction to lobbying from the IBA Government Relations Team and lunch with a special guest speaker. After lunch, participants will receive an overview of current state banking issues, followed by a walk to the Indiana Statehouse to see the legislative process in action. The remaining time will be spent observing floor sessions of the Indiana House and Senate, where attendees will have the opportunity to visit with their elected officials. Last year, nearly 50 bankers attended this event. The day was so successful that it won a statewide award as Outstanding Individual Program/Event by the Indiana Society of Association Executives.
