He joined the bank in 2004. Dowling is active as a youth basketball coach and United Way volunteer. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and is a graduate of the Omega-Commercial Lending School. Tim Gardner has joined the bank as director of marketing and communications. He has more than 20 years of experience, serving most recently as marketing and sales director at Zimmer. Gardner earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University. Bicentennial Medals Indiana marks its 200th anniversary of statehood this year. As part of a yearlong celebration, the Indiana Bicentennial Commission is minting a commemorative medal, for which the IBA has been named the presenting sponsor. This sponsorship entitles IBAmember banks to serve as exclusive distribution points for official medal order forms. She has 20 years of banking experience, serving previously with Farmers State Bank, LaGrange, as assistant vice president, branch manager and lending officer. Evers volunteers with Junior Achievement. The First National Bank of Odon C. Brian Simpson has joined the bank as vice president, agricultural lender. Previous banking experience includes serving as Vincennes community bank executive for Fifth Third Bank and various positions with American General Finance, Kimball International and German American. Simpson earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana and an MBA from Ball State University. iAB Financial Bank, Fort Wayne Aaron R. Schaffer has joined the bank as vice president and commercial banking officer. He has five years of banking experience. Schaffer serves as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana and as a finance committee member for Matthew 25 Health Clinic. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University. Jeremy D. Swonger has joined the bank as investment executive. He has seven years of banking experience, including retail, mortgage banking and investment services. Swonger earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Saint Francis.
