He previously served as vice president, lending, with National City Bank; as vice president and manager with First Farmers Bank and Trust Company; as branch manager and corporate security officer with American Trust Federal Savings Bank; and most recently as branch manager/loan officer with First Bank of Berne. Altmiller is active with Rotary Club of Kokomo, United Way of Howard County, Realtors Association of Central Indiana, Home Builders Association of Howard County and Kokomo Y’s Men Association. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and an MBA from Indiana University Kokomo. Mike Walters has joined the bank as senior vice president, agricultural head of lending, serving Peru and Wabash. He previously served as loan officer, senior special accounts loan officer, vice president of financial services and senior financial services officer with Farm Credit Services; as vice president of community banking in agriculture with National City Bank; and most recently as senior vice president and sales manager with Farmers State Bank. Walters earned a bachelor’s degree from Berea College. The New Washington State Bank, Charlestown Deanna Liter has joined the bank as vice president, data services; additionally, she will serve as an officer for information security, physical security, business continuity and vendor management. She has 32 years of banking experience, previously serving with Citizens National Bank and River Valley Financial Bank. Liter is active with Relay For Life, Salvation Army and Big Brothers Big Sisters, and she formerly served with Jefferson County 4-H and the board for Jefferson County Transitional Services Inc. Shelley Lakins has joined the bank as vice president, retail banking. She has 22 years of banking experience, previously serving with The Scott County State Bank as customer service representative, executive assistant to the bank president, assistant vice president/ financial center manager, vice president of community relations officer, vice president of retail banking and regional service manager. Lakins is active with the Greater Scott County Chamber of Commerce, Relay For Life, Scottsburg High School, the Professional Women’s Network of Scott County and Southern Indiana, and the Scott County Community Foundation. She attended Ball State University. Debra Dockter has joined the bank as branch manager, Charlestown location. She has 12 years of banking experience, previously serving with Liberty National Bank of Indiana and Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company. Dockter is a relay center coordinator MutualBank, Muncie Shelley Dobbins has been promoted to loan counselor, Warsaw location. She has three years of banking experience and previously served as senior teller. Dobbins is active with My Team Triumph, Noon Optimist and the Kosciusko Board of Realtors. Alliance Bank, Francesville Shane Pilarski has been named interim president/chief executive officer. She joined the bank in 2002 and has experience in lending and accounting. Pilarski earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and has completed the Barret Graduate School of Banking. First Federal Savings Bank, Huntington Doug Hanes has joined the bank as assistant vice president, commercial lending and business development, Warsaw location. He has 12 years of banking experience. Hanes is a member of Beloved Not Forgotten. He earned a bachelor’s degree from California State University. First State Bank of Middlebury Missy Schroeder has been promoted to assistant vice president, retail banking administrator. She has 12 years of banking experience. Schroeder is a member of the Middlebury Lions Club, Northridge Band Boosters and Northridge Tennis Parent Association; additionally, she volunteers with the Northridge chorale department. for Operation Christmas Child and Miss Clark County 4-H Fair Queen Pageant committee member.
