He joined the bank in 2015 after 25 years of banking experience. Bulcher earned a bachelor’s degree from Wright State University and has completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Jody Saige, chief information officer, has been promoted to vice president. He joined the bank in 2015 after 13 years of information technology experience with a credit union. Saige serves as board member with Wells County United Way and previously was a board member for Goshen Noon Optimist. Kevin Gould, controller, has been promoted to vice president. He joined the bank in 2013 after 35 years of accounting and management experience. Gould serves on the board of directors and is past president for Stop Child Abuse & Neglect Inc. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana UniversityPurdue University Fort Wayne and an MBA from the University of Saint Francis. Peter Schmidt, information security officer, has been promoted to vice president. He joined the bank in 2010 after serving 20 years with Lincoln National Life Insurance Company as senior analyst. Schmidt is active with the North Manchester Police Department and Habitat for Humanity. He holds a certified banking security manager designation and has completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Kyle White, retail banking manager, has been promoted to vice president. He serves with the Berne Volunteer Fire Department and South Adams baseball and football programs. White attended Bluffton University and is a graduate of the Indiana Institute of Technology. Nathan Liechty has been promoted to assistant vice president/agribusiness banker. He is president of the Adams County Extension Board and is a representative of Adams County for PCARET. Liechty earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and is a graduate of the Midwest Agricultural School of Banking. Jennifer Ash, branch manager/ mortgage loan officer, Peru location, has been promoted to assistant vice president. She joined the bank in 2012 after 13 years of banking experience. Ash is active with Harvesting Capabilities, United Way and Salvation Army. Allison Garwood, lead consumer processing coordinator, has been promoted to assistant vice president. She joined the bank in 2012. Garwood earned a bachelor’s degree from Bethel College. Lorie Garwood, investment adviser representative, has been promoted to assistant vice president/investment adviser. She has been with the bank for five years and has 15 total years of experience in wealth planning and investment advisory services. Garwood has served as chair of the Van Wert County United Way executive committee. Sean LaFontaine, cash management specialist, has been promoted to assistant vice president. He joined the bank in 2012. LaFontaine earned a bachelor’s degree from Huntington University. First Federal Savings Bank of Angola Scott G. Gruner has been promoted to president and chief executive officer; additionally he has been elected to the board of directors. Gruner has been with the bank for 18 years, serving as executive vice president, chief operating officer, vice president of lending and loan department manager. He has taught as an adjunct professor at Trine University since 2001 and at Indiana Tech since 2009. Gruner earned a bachelor’s degree from Tri-State University and an MBA from Indiana University.
