Bochnowski has been named chief executive officer of the bank and of NorthWest Indiana Bancorp, effective April 28. He joined the bank in 2010 and has served as president, chief operating officer and bank board member since 2014. He serves on the Membership Council of the American Bankers Association and on the board of directors of the Indiana Bankers Association. Additionally he is a past board member of the IBA Future Leadership Division. In the community, Bochnowski is a member of the boards of directors of the Dunes National Park Association and of the Legacy Foundation, plus he volunteers with the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities at Purdue University, and with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from ESADE business school in Barcelona, Spain; is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking; and earned a leadership certificate from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. The Napoleon State Bank Mark Comer has been promoted to president and chief executive officer. He joined the bank in 1978 and has served as branch manager, lender, executive vice president and secretary of the board. Comer was appointed to the board of directors in 1991. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. The New Washington State Bank, Charlestown Daniel Brunner has joined the bank as branch manager, Scottsburg location. He has eight years of banking experience, serving previously with U.S. Bank and Fifth Third Bank, and most recently with a credit union as loan manager.
