The bank collected $640 that will be used to provide shelter, food and medical care for homeless pets until they find forever homes. West End Bank, Richmond, donated $5,000 to Richmond Community Schools during a school board meeting in March. As part of the bank’s financial literacy partnership with the school, the bank donated a percentage of the overall deposits saved by students to be applied toward academic and fine arts initiatives. West End Bank, Richmond, selects a nonprofit organization each month as a focus for charitable efforts.
