37 Hoosier Banker May 2016 Donna M. Howell has joined the bank as senior vice president, chief operating officer. She previously served as senior program manager for a banking software company. A certified treasury professional, Howell earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana. Citizens State Bank, New Castle Theresa Alexander has been promoted to real estate lending manager, serving the Rush County area. Tammy Stone has been promoted to mortgage operations manager, serving the Knightstown area. Beth Criswell has been promoted to loan operations manager, serving the New Castle area. Huntington National Bank, Indianapolis Russ Harvey has been named community president, serving Lafayette and surrounding areas. He has banking experience in Indiana and Texas, most recently serving as vice president with Regions Bank. The Farmers Bank, Frankfort Karen F. Gregerson has been named president and chief executive officer. She has 34 years of banking experience with STAR Bank, Fort Wayne, where she served in various positions, including audit and tax manager, controller, chief financial officer and president of STAR Trust Company. Gregerson serves as a director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis and additionally serves on a number of community boards in Marion and Fort Wayne, including the Girl Scouts of America, St. Martin de Porres Community Center, Habitat for Humanity, Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic, Junior Achievement and Bishop Luers High School. She also has volunteered for the United Way of Allen County. A certified public accountant and certified financial planner, Gregerson earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and a master’s degree from Indiana Tech. Stephanie Buntin has been appointed comptroller. She joined the bank in 2002 as retail loan assistant and has served as senior credit analyst. Buntin earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Leota Walker has been appointed manager of branch administration. She joined the bank in 2006 as teller/ customer service representative after 16 years of retail experience. She most recently served as branch manager, Mulberry location.
