Sue Ellspermann has been elected to the board of directors for OneAmerica - AUL Retirement Services, Indianapolis. She served as the 50th Indiana lieutenant governor and state representative from 2010 to 2012 after previous experience in manufacturing and consulting. Ellspermann founded the University of Southern Indiana’s Center for Applied Research and Economic Development. She is a graduate of Purdue University, and she earned master’s and doctorate’s degrees from the University of Louisville. Carolene Mays-Medley has been elected to the board of directors for OneAmerica - AUL Retirement Services, Indianapolis. She serves as executive director of the White River State Park Development Commission, and she serves on Peyton Manning’s PeyBack Foundation board, Child Advocates executive advisory committee and Indiana Sports Corp. Mays-Medley has served as commissioner and vice chairman of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, president of the Mid-America Regulatory Conference, member of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners Water and Washington Action committees, and chairperson of the NARUC Critical Infrastructure Committee. She served as state representative from 2002 to 2008 and was publisher and president of the Indianapolis Recorder newspaper and Indiana Minority Business Magazine. Mays-Medley earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University and a master’s degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She previously served as public finance director for the state of Indiana and general counsel and chief operating officer for the Indiana Finance Authority.
