Landon Rone has been promoted to credit analyst. He joined the bank in 2015 as a loan processing specialist. Amber Sallee has joined the bank as relationship banker, Newburgh location. She has more than five years of experience in sales and customer service. Sallee earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana. Crossroads Bank,Wabash Vickie Guyas has joined the bank as vice president and branch manager, Syracuse location. She has 19 years of banking experience and previously served in retail branch management, lending, mortgage banking management and outside calling. Guyas is active with Junior Achievement and the Millersburg Redevelopment Committee. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Manchester University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. First Merchants Bank, Muncie Mark Hardwick has been promoted to chief operating officer and will continue to serve as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He joined the bank in 1997 as corporate controller; was named chief financial officer in 2002; and has held leadership responsibilities in operations, technology and risk management since 2007. A certified public accountant, Hardwick previously served as senior accountant with BKD, LLP. He is a member of Meridian Services, Union Chapel Ministries, Cardinal Properties Inc., the Miller College of Business advisory board, the finance committee for the Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County and the Ball State University Athletic Hall of Fame. Additionally Hardwick is a distinguished alumnus of the Ball State University Miller College of Business, and in 2012 was named CFO of the Year by the Indianapolis Business Journal. He earned bachelor’s and MBA degrees from Ball State University and has completed the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. First Security Bank, Evansville Alan Jones has joined the bank as senior vice president-credit officer. He has 20 years of banking experience, serving the past six years as vice president/loan review manager with The National Bank of Indianapolis. Jones earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana. Kathi Nickel has joined the bank as vice president-credit officer and special asset manager. She served most recently with CliftonLarsonAllen as senior banking consultant for loan review and previously held positions at PBI Bank, Commonwealth Bank and Trust Company, and MainSource Bank. Nickel earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. Ty Swisher has joined the bank as deposit services officer, downtown Evansville location. He has seven years of experience in management, sales and customer service, most recently serving two years as branch manager with Springleaf Financial. Swisher earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana. Jeff May has been promoted to vice president/commercial banker, downtown Evansville location. He joined the bank in 2012 after gaining experience with commercial lending and commercial real estate. United Bank, Evansville Angela Peters has joined the bank as marketing director. She has 17 years of experience in sales, marketing and event planning. Peters earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Chris Rhodaback has joined the bank as assistant vice president, community executive. He has 16 years of banking experience. Rhodaback earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Evansville.
