He has previous banking and retail management experience. Martin earned a bachelor’s degree from the Indiana Institute of Technology and is working toward an MBA. Jared M. Wurtzel has joined the bank as portfolio manager. He has more than five years of experience in financial investments. Wurtzel is a member of the Fort Wayne Community School Study Connection program. He joined the bank in 2007 as chief lending officer and is active with multiple community organizations. MID-SOUTHERN SAVINGS BANK, FSB 7EPIQ Alexander G. Babey has been named president, chief executive officer and director of the bank and of its holding company, Mid-Southern, MHC. He has more than 25 years of banking experience and has been serving the bank as executive vice president and chief credit officer since 2013. Babey has held management positions in retail banking, commercial lending, mortgage banking and consumer lending, and he is a past executive vice president and senior loan officer at THE BANK-Oldham County Inc., a division of Stock Yards Bank & Trust. Joe Bauer has joined the bank as vice president, serving southern Indiana. He is a member of the New Albany Floyd Central School Foundation Board and is active with the Kiwanis of Historic New Albany. Bauer earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Greg Siegrist has joined the bank as vice president, serving Floyd and Clark counties in Indiana. He is active with Hand in Hand Ministries and Volunteers of America. Siegrist earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Thomas A. Paris has joined the bank as vice president, Salem location. He is president of the Salem Education Foundation, vice chairman of the Blue River Services Inc. and a member of the Washington County Redevelopment Commission. Paris earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and is Indiana-licensed in property and casualty insurance, and life and health insurance. Greg Lamb has joined the bank as vice president and loan officer, Salem location. He has 28 years of banking experience. Lamb is active with the Washington County Board of Realtors and Washington County Chamber of Commerce, and he is a former member of the Salem Lions Club, Washington County Extension Board and Washington County Hospital Foundation. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and has completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Kathy Cahill has joined the bank as loan officer, serving the New Albany area. She coaches St. Anthony’s girls’ basketball. Cahill is a graduate of the University of Louisville.
