Hoosier Banker 57 FIRST SAVINGS BANK / Clarksville Scott P. Carr has been appointed chief risk officer. He brings 18 years of financial services experience, including the past 11 years in the areas of risk management, regulatory compliance, Bank Secrecy Act, and information security with the former Your Community Bank. Carr has served on numerous nonprofit boards and currently serves on the Rauch board of directors, Leadership Southern Indiana executive board, South Central Officials Association board of directors, and the Indiana Football Officials Association. He also served four years in the U.S. Navy. Carr earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Southeast and is a graduate of the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking. Carr has been designated as a certified regulatory compliance manager and a certified AML and fraud professional from the Institute of Certified Bankers, and holds certification in risk management assurance from the Institute of Internal Auditors. Doug Pearson has been promoted to senior vice president, market manager of the Corydon market. He joined the bank in 2006 as a commercial lender. Pearson has 30 years of financial services experience and has served as branch manager, head of consumer and mortgage lending, commercial lender and senior credit officer. He is active with Habitat for Humanity, Revolving Loan Fund Board, Sheriff Merit Board, the Community Foundation and Hillview Christian Church. Pearson attended Oakland City University and Indiana University Southeast. Scott P. She is active with Cass County, Michigan 4-H and the Edwardsburg public school board. Groulx is a graduate of Indiana University-South Bend and has completed the NBD Bank credit analyst training program and the Bank One supervisory management program. Becky Lee has been promoted to deposit operations officer. She has been active with the Elkhart County 4-H Dairy Feeder Calf Club. Lee attended Indiana University.
