DEMOTTE STATE BANK Denise Nuttall has been promoted to senior vice president/controller. She joined the bank in 2006 as assistant controller and previously worked as a CPA at Umbaugh & Associates, Crowe Chizek, Drees & Associates and as clerk treasurer for the town of DeMotte. Nuttall is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of CPAs, serves as treasurer of the Kankakee Valley board of Junior Achievement and additionally is a Junior Achievement instructor. Nuttall volunteers with the Boy Scouts and the Kankakee Valley High School band and athletics. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Steve Myers has been promoted to senior vice president/consumer loan officer. He joined the bank in 2000 as a lender and earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University. Kimberly Parker has been promoted to assistant vice president/IT. Parker has more than 20 years of banking experience, including 17 with the bank. She has taught evening education courses to the bank staff, and she volunteers in the community. Parker earned an associate’s degree. Melissa Schaafsma has been promoted to assistant vice president/electronic banking officer. She has been with the bank for nearly 23 years. Schaafsma serves on the DeMotte Christian Schools athletic sponsorship committee and volunteers as a Junior Achievement instructor. COMMUNITY FIRST BANK OF INDIANA / Kokomo Tracy Brown, main office branch manager, has been promoted to vice president. She has been with the bank for nine years and previously served as assistant vice president. Brown is active with numerous organizations and serves as an ambassador for the Greater Kokomo Chamber of Commerce. Kim Sanders, assistant branch manager of the Pebble Village branch, has been promoted to bank officer. She joined the bank in 2016 and has worked in the banking industry for more than 20 years. Sanders’ volunteer activities include Westfield in Lights and Open Doors of Westfield. CROSSROADS BANK / Wabash Todd Lybarger has joined the bank as a vice president, commercial and agricultural lending officer in Columbia City and Syracuse. He has 34 years in commercial banking services, agribusiness management and finance. Lybarger previously served as chief financial officer with Advanced Ag Resources, and he has worked for several community banks in Indiana. Lybarger is a member of the Wabash Rotary Club, chair of the Economic Development Group of Wabash County, board member of Community Foundation of Wabash County, Wabash County Historical Museum, North Manchester Town Forum Group, past president of the Rotary Club of North Manchester and the North Manchester Chamber of Commerce, former board member of Kosciusko Economic Development and Warsaw-Kosciusko County Chamber ambassador. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
