He has been with the bank for 10 years and has more than 30 years of banking experience. Mayers serves on the board of the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center and Junior Achievement. He is also a former board member of the Fort Wayne Urban League, United Way of Allen County, Park Center Inc., Bishop Dwenger High School, St. Jude School and the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre. Mayers is a graduate of Hanover College. Shelli Alexander has been promoted to senior vice president and manager of the bank’s central region business banking group. She serves on the board of directors of River Bend Cancer Services, the Indiana University Alumni Association and the South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is also active with Rotary and is a graduate of Leadership South Bend/Mishawaka. Alexander earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-South Bend and attended the Indiana Bankers Association Leadership Development Program. Paul Gifford has been promoted to senior vice president. He continues to manage the bank’s investment advisor group and assume an expanded leadership role within the bank’s wealth advisory services. He has been with the bank for 16 years and has 27 years of investment experience. Gifford is active with the South Bend Medical Foundation. He holds the chartered financial analyst designation and earned a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University. Valerie C. (Hines) Weis has been promoted to vice president. She joined the bank in 2007 as a financial adviser and in 2013 transitioned to program manager of the asset advisors group. Weis serves as chair of Leadership Marshall County, has completed the Boston University financial planning program and is a certified financial planner. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University and holds Series 7, 63 & 66 FINRA registrations, as well as an Indiana life and health license and Indiana long-term care partner certification. Angie Dvorak, manager of public relations and corporate communications, has been promoted to vice president. She has eight years of experience with the bank. Dvorak serves on the board of directors of Downtown South Bend and the Junior League of South Bend. A member of the Public Relations Society of America, Dvorak earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana University. Kirk Browning has joined the bank as president of the auto/light truck and specialty vehicle fleet finance divisions. He has 25 years of experience in the auto and equipment rental industry, including experience with Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc., the Hertz Corp. and the Ford Motor Credit Company. Browning earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. Mindy Overmyer has been promoted to assistant vice president. She is the manager of the bank’s Plymouth banking center and additionally oversees the Argos and Bremen banking centers. Overmyer is active with Junior Achievement, Lions Club and Business Network International. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University South Bend and an associate’s degree from Ancilla College. Denise Myers, vice president, has been promoted to private banking manager. She has been with the bank for seven years and has 42 years of banking experience. Myers has served as a board member for the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services of Northern Indiana and as an advisory board member for the United Way of St. Joseph County. She attended Indiana University-South Bend and has series 7 and series 66 NASD securities licenses and life, accident and health insurance licenses. Myers is a member of the Indiana Bankers Association 40 Year Club. Jillian Frick, security specialist, has been promoted to officer. She has been with the bank for three years and has prior experience as a forensic lab/crime scene technician with the South Bend Police Department. Frick earned a bachelor’s degree from Tri-State University.
