In this example, the financial institution may have a strong relationship with the auto dealer, or perhaps none at all. It may be that when the bank decided to participate in the platform, it named this dealer as one of the locations where it wanted its offer to be presented to users. From a user’s perspective, when entering the dealer’s lot, this notification automatically appears on screen. There is no need to open the app or check in. Upon tapping on the notification, the user can be taken to a bank webpage with a phone number to tap to dial, or other options. The phrase, “Car loans as low as 2.24 percent...” is customizable per location, with different wording available at different auto dealers. Your customers will download to their devices a mobile app, customized and provided by Larky, that contains the bank’s name, logo and messaging. After downloading the iOS or Android app, your customer will begin receiving notifications of discounts as they travel around town. Larky will work with your bank to determine which merchants to target, and then Larky will contact the merchants to develop the compelling discounts.
