Donations included coats, boots, hats, scarves and gloves. Farmers State Bank, LaGrange, donated $1,500 in July to the LaGrange County Council on Aging. The donation was the first of the bank’s “Blue Button Jean-erosity” program, allowing employees to wear blue jeans on designated days in exchange for small monetary donations. HB MainSource Bank, Greensburg, hosted a donation drive in June to benefit New Directions of Decatur County. Bank branches, along with local residents, collected toiletry products, non-perishable food and gift cards for the purchase of perishable and frozen food. New Directions of Decatur County is a nonprofit organization that serves victims of domestic violence or abuse.
