She has more than 30 years of banking experience, 15 of which have been specific to of healthcare banking. Lipowicz is a graduate of the University of Illinois and a certified treasury professional. DEPARTMENTS BANKERS ON THE MOVE CROSSROADS BANK / Wabash Kris Shoemaker has been promoted to assistant vice president of commercial operations. He joined the bank in 2011 as credit analyst. A graduate of Manchester University, Shoemaker has completed the Wabash County Leadership Development program. HOME BANK / Martinsville Sher Ward Smith has been named vice president/mortgage loan operations. She joined the bank in 2007 and has served as teller, mortgage loan processor, branch manager, manager/ mortgage loan operations and assistant vice president/loan operations. Smith has more than 30 years of experience in the banking and mortgage industry. Her community involvement includes board service for the League of Miracles and for the Morgan County Substance Abuse Council. THE NEW WASHINGTON STATE BANK / Charlestown Lee Thomas has been promoted to vice president. He joined the bank in 1997 and most recently served as a commercial lender. He is a board member and past president of the Charlestown Chamber of Commerce and a former board member of the Building and Development Association of Southern Indiana. Thomas is a graduate of Indiana University, of Leadership Southern Indiana and of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Matt LaHue has joined the bank as secondary mortgage originator. He has 12 years of mortgage business experience, having worked with LendingTree Loans and AmeriSave Mortgage Corp. LaHue volunteers with Sam Swope Junior Achievement BizTown and Blessings in a Backpack. A graduate of Indiana University, he was selected in 2012 by Fortune 500 Discover Financial Services to be a member of its first mortgage team. PNC BANK, NA / Indianapolis Corinna Ladd has been appointed regional president, northern Indiana. She previously served as senior vice president of corporate banking. She joined the bank in 2012 and has more than 25 years of banking experience, holding positions in commercial, middle market and large corporate banking. Ladd is a board member and finance committee chair for the Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities, and serves as an advisory board member for the School of Health Sciences at Trine University. She is a past director for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana, which granted her the Community Volunteer award in 2016. Additionally Ladd is a member of Financial Executives International, a former member of the Fort Wayne chapter of Executive Women’s International, and is active with the United Way of Allen County, serving as a regional United Way ambassador. She is a graduate of Indiana University. Jacqueline Lonis has been appointed assistant vice president in business banking, Fort Wayne region. She has more than 10 years of banking experience, including branch management, and business and consumer banking. Lonis has been active in the community with Habitat for Humanity Greater Fort Wayne, Charis House, Big Brothers Big Sisters of northeast Indiana, and Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana.
