Hoosier Banker 53 JACKSON COUNTY BANK / Seymour Amanda M. Young has joined the bank as a retail lender, located at the bank’s new office on Central Avenue near the Kroger Marketplace. She has a 16-year history of sales experience, including eight years in banking. Young is a graduate of the University of Evansville. FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS BANK / Huntington Joe Cassidy has joined the bank as the branch manager for the Southwest Fort Wayne office. He has 17 years of financial experience. Cassidy is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University. STOCK YARDS BANK & TRUST COMPANY / Austin Esther Carter-Day has joined the bank in its commercial banking group in Indianapolis. During her nearly 20-year banking career, Carter-Day has held positions as a senior credit analyst, credit coordinator, senior construction loan officer and relationship manager with institutions including Chase Bank, BMO Harris Bank and Union Savings Bank. She has been active with IndyCREW (Commercial Real Estate Woman), where she served as a national delegate in 2008, president-elect in 2009, president in 2010, and currently is serving as secretary. Carter-Day also serves as treasurer for Renew Indy, an organization with a mission to turn blighted properties into livable places, and has served FIRST FINANCIAL BANK / Columbus Bill Bower has been named Indianapolis market president. He has extensive commercial banking experience in the Indianapolis area, including 10 years managing specialty and general commercial lending groups. Jeff Cartwright has been named regional manager of investment commercial real estate, Indianapolis office. He has 16 years of business experience and is a graduate of Indiana University. Cartwright serves as treasurer of the Urban Land Institute Indiana District Council, as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is active with the I.U. Real Estate Alumni Network. Michelle Anderson has been promoted to mortgage loan originator, serving residents throughout northwest Indiana. She has been with the bank, serving as a banking center manager, for more than 15 years. Anderson serves as a board member of the Highland Griffith Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Hammond Community Services and the Highland Community Foundation. She is a graduate of Purdue University as treasurer for Raising Queens, dedicated to empowering women and girls to live successfully. Additionally she is a member of the Executive Women in Finance and the Indianapolis Chapter of the Urban Land Institute. Carter-Day earned a bachelor’s degree from Central State University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
