The bank hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 15 for its new Bloomington loan and financial center, located at 1280 N. College Ave. The bank also hosted a ribbon cutting on July 11 for the opening of the Columbus banking center at 2761 Central Ave.; events included a fundraiser for Foundation for Youth. HB Citizens Bank, Mooresville, hosted a grand opening in August of its relocated Avon branch. After 11 years at a prior location in Avon, the branch has relocated to 99 S. Dan Jones Rd. The Avon Chamber of Commerce sponsored a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and the bank made a donation to Family Promise of Hendricks County. BANKING CENTER UPDATES Columbus Mayor Jim Lienhoop was on hand for the showcasing of the Columbus banking center of Jackson County Bank. The center features customer service pods in place of a traditional teller line.
