Witmer has been named vice president-audit, compliance and risk management. He previously served as a senior consultant for Young & Associates Inc. His background prior to consulting included serving as assistant vice president-compliance director for Independent Alliance Banks, as a personal banker at Chase Bank and as a mortgage loan officer at Waterfield Financial. A certified regulatory compliance manager, Witmer earned a bachelor’s degree from Taylor University and an MBA from Indiana Tech. Kaylee M. Dobson has joined the bank as a loan officer after prior service as a customer service representative. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and an MBA from Trine University. HOME BANK/ Martinsville Kathy Spencer-Ellis has joined the bank as a commercial loan officer after more than 20 years of experience in private banking and commercial lending. She is active with IndyCrew, an affiliate chapter of CREW Network (Commercial Real Estate Women); the Indiana Women’s Golf League; the Medical Group Management Association; the Indiana Rural Health Association; Habitat for Humanity; and Gleaners Food Bank. Spencer-Ellis is a graduate of Ball State University. MUTUALBANK / Muncie Heath Simcoe has been appointed LPL Financial adviser, Elkhart and Kosciusko counties. Prior to joining MutualBank, he served as sales manager, operations manager and services manager with the Best Buy organization. Simcoe has Series 7 and 66 registrations and is licensed in Indiana state life and health insurance. He is a graduate of Manchester University. Katherine Schmidt has been promoted from service manager to financial center manager, Goshen location. She is active with the Concord Rotary Club and is an ambassador with the Goshen Chamber of Commerce. Schmidt earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-South Bend. Tedd Schaffer has joined the bank as vice president, commercial banking. He has 18 years of banking experience, including service as a credit analyst and more than 15 CROSSROADS BANK / Wabash Tony Millspaugh has joined the bank as vice president of leasing, Wabash and Miami county markets. He previously worked for First Merchants Bank, formerly Frances Slocum Bank, as a vice president and retail lending leader. Millspaugh served the Wabash community banking industry for 33 years prior to joining a family business in Texas. He attended Indiana Wesleyan University. years in business lending. Maja Master has rejoined the bank as financial center manager of the State Road 15 and 250 North location. She formerly served as a business services officer.
