Neil Dauby has been named executive vice president-chief commercial banking officer. He previously served as south central region president. Michael P. Kern has been named regional senior vice president-senior commercial banking officer. Daniel J. Collignon, regional executive vice president-commercial credit officer, has been named to the south central executive group. H. Alvin Basham, divisional senior vice president-fiduciary services, has joined the Wealth Advisory Group’s executive management committee. Jody L. Giles, divisional senior vice president-retirement services, has joined the Wealth Advisory Group’s executive management committee. David E. Mitchell, divisional senior vice president-chief investment officer, has joined the Wealth Advisory Group’s executive management committee. Jay A. Baker, regional senior vice president-senior retail banking officer, has been named to the south central executive group. Jim McDonald has been promoted to regional president, covering the west region of Daviess, Gibson, Knox, Pike and Martin counties. He has 28 years of experience in agricultural and commercial banking, with leadership roles in strategic planning and business development. McDonald serves on the board of Thy Word Network and is a graduate of Murray State University. Brock C. Goggins has been named corporate senior vice president-retail banking. He joined German American in 2016 as senior retail banking officer for the north region, covering Monroe and Lawrence counties. Goggins has worked in the financial services industry since 2009 in various retail and consumer banking roles. Prior to joining German American, he was vice president, district manager for a regional bank. Goggins serves on the board of USO of Indiana and is a graduate of Hanover College. Alex Knepp has been promoted to senior vice president-senior financial consultant of German American Investment Services within the investment services senior management group. Knepp joined German American in 2005 as a financial consultant, and in 2010 he was promoted to vice president and senior financial consultant. He holds FINRA registrations Series 7 and 66, has earned designation as a certified financial planner and as a certified public accountant, and has life and health insurance licenses with long-term care endorsement. Knepp is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana. Ashley M. Kirk has been named corporate vice president-internal audit manager. She has been with German American for the past 16 years and has worked in internal audit for the past 10 years. Kirk is a member of the Holland Events Committee. She has been designated a certified community banking auditor and a certified financial services auditor. Kirk earned bachelor’s and MBA degrees from the University of Southern Indiana. Anthony W. Gumbel has been named corporate vice president-digital banking manager. He joined German American in 2013 as digital banking product specialist, and he has worked in the financial services industry since 2006 in operations and technology. Gumbel serves as the German American campaign coordinator for the United Way of Southwestern Indiana and is active with the Warrick Humane Society. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana. Zach A. Sibrel has been promoted to executive vice president of German American Insurance Inc. He joined the insurance team in 2011, prior to which he worked for a large insurance agency for 10 years. Sibrel serves as regional president of an insurance carrier’s agency advisory board, plus serves on two other advisory boards. He is a graduate of Indiana State University and a certified insurance counselor. Amanda R.
