Hoosier Banker 51 FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS BANK / Huntington Peggy Genshaw has joined the bank as branch manager and mortgage loan officer, Warsaw location. She has 29 years of financial experience, including serving as assistant vice president, branch manager, business banker; additionally she has served in the areas of Small Business Administration lending, loan underwriting and mortgage lending. Genshaw’s community involvement includes serving as board president of the Syracuse-Wawasee Historical Museum and as a member of the Kosciusko County Board of Realtors and of the Syracuse Lake Association. HOME BANK / Martinsville Lydia Brown has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer. She joined the bank in 2010, most recently serving in the role of vice president and internal auditor. Brown is a member of the Financial Manager’s Society and serves on the board of the League of Miracles, based in Morgan County. She is a certified public accountant, a graduate of Indiana University, and is scheduled to complete an MBA from Ball State University this year. Kathy Spencer-Ellis has joined the bank as a commercial loan officer after more than 20 years of experience in private banking and commercial lending. She is active with IndyCrew, an affiliate chapter of CREW Network (Commercial Real Estate Women); the Indiana Women’s Golf League; the Medical Group Management Association; the Indiana Rural Health Association; Habitat for Humanity; and Gleaners Food Bank. Spencer-Ellis is a graduate of Ball State University. STAR BANK / Fort Wayne Stephanie Pelko has joined the bank as senior commercial banker, overseeing the northeast and central Indiana loan portfolio as commercial real estate loan administrator, client services manager, and manager of the commercial loan administration team. She has more than 30 years of financial services experience, most recently serving with Huntington National Bank for 17 years in commercial real estate.
