44 MARCH / APRIL 2018 Greg Springer, Farmers & Merchants Bank, Boswell, has retired after 42 years in banking. He has been with Farmers & Merchants Bank for six years. Springer is a member of the Indiana Bankers Association 40 Year Club. Mary Ann Stockberger has retired from The Farmers Bank, Frankfort, after more than 35 years of service. She joined the bank in 1976 in the bookkeeping department and since has served in a variety of capacities, most recently as merchant services manager. Tom Miller has retired from the board of directors of the Farmers State Bank, LaGrange. He had been serving on the board since 1998 and co-owned Topeka Pharmacy with his wife prior to retiring from that business. In honor of Miller’s service, the bank donated $500 to the Topeka branch of the LaGrange County Public Library. HB 41 years, joining First Federal in 1999 as senior vice president for retail lending. He previously worked for United Fidelity Bank in various management capacities. He is a member of the Indiana Bankers Association 40 Year Club. Luanne Lewis has retired from The Farmers Bank, Frankfort. She joined the bank in 2000 as a consumer loan officer. Lewis began her banking career in 1973 in the loan department of Boone County State Bank. Lewis is a member of the Indiana Bankers Association 40 Year Club. Bob Buhle, senior partner of Centier Bank, Merrillville, has retired after 30 years of service. He joined Centier in 1987 as compliance officer and is credited for purchasing the bank’s first personal computers. He was named regional manager of retail branches in 1989 and was promoted to senior management later that year. Buhle was instrumental in consolidating operations in 1995 and was involved in the design of the Centier operations center in 2000. Kirby King, executive vice president and chief lending officer, for First Federal Savings Bank, Evansville, has retired.
