Hoosier Banker 47 Freeman “Fritz” Schlabach, owner and president of Rock Run Industries LLC in Millersburg, has been elected to the boards of directors of Farmers State Bank, LaGrange, and of FS Bancorp. He has been involved in the RV and mobile home industry since 1995, and additionally he owns Rock Run Real Estate LLC. Fritz is president of the board of Rock Run Youth Park, and he is a board member of the LaGrange County Economic Development Corp. Eric VanVleet, owner of VanVleet Insurance, has been elected chairman of the board of Wayne Bank and Trust Company, Cambridge City. He has been serving on Wayne Bank’s board since 2014 and additionally has served on the boards of the Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce, the Economic an auto collision, paint and body repair shop before selling it to a regional entity. Jordi Disler, president of Parkview LaGrange Hospital, has been elected to the boards of directors of Farmers State Bank, LaGrange, and of FS Bancorp. She was named to her position at the hospital in 2016 and has 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She joined Parkview Health in 2001 and has served as vice president of patient care services for Parkview LaGrange and as director of nursing for Parkview Orthopedic Hospital. Disler serves on the boards of the LaGrange County Community Foundation, the Lagrange County Chamber of Commerce and the LaGrange County Economic Development Corp. Development Corporation of Wayne County and the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana. Steve Slonaker is retiring as chairman of the board of Wayne Bank and Trust Company, Cambridge City; he remains a member of the board. Slonaker had been serving as chairman of the board since 2011. Paul J. Bickel III, president of U.S. Specialties, has been named to the boards of directors of Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company and of Stock Yards Bancorp Inc. He founded U.S. Specialties in 1981 and has served as the managing member of several real estate development organizations in the Louisville area over the past 30 years.
