She has 18 years of experience in banking leadership. Carroll was named COO in 2015, and additionally has served the bank in roles including risk officer and assistant controller. She is a member of the Indiana Bankers Association Future Leadership Division board, of the Clark County Purdue Extension board, of the Center for Women and Families Southern Indiana Partnership Council and of the New Washington High School Alumni Scholarship Committee. Carroll is a graduate of Hanover College and of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Paul Wheatley has joined the board of directors of The New Washington State Bank, Charlestown. He is president and founder of The Wheatley Group LLC, Sellersburg, with more than 10 years of experience in municipal government, public finance and project management roles. Wheatley previously served as director of marketing and finance at River Ridge Development Authority and also has served in marketing and development at One Southern Indiana and for the cities of Jeffersonville and New Albany. In 2015 he was appointed to the strategic review committee for the regional cities initiative of the Indiana Economic Development Corp. Certified as an economic development finance professional, Wheatley earned an undergraduate degree from Indiana University and an MBA from Bellarmine University. Jeremiah P. Mills has joined the boards of directors of CITBA Financial Corporation and of Citizens Bank, Mooresville. He succeeds Calvin A. Persohn, who retired from the board in January 2018 after 13 years of service. Mills is operator and co-owner of Mills Family Farms LLC, West Newton. Mills is a graduate of Purdue University. Daniel J. Lahrman, president of Daniel Lahrman Farms Inc., Mulberry, has been elected to the board of directors of The Farmers Bank, Frankfort. He began his career in agriculture in 1977. Lahrman is a board member of Clinton County Farm Bureau Inc. and of Partners in Progress, an agri-business representative of the North Central Indiana Regional Planning Council, and a member of the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce. Previously he was active with the Ross Township Board, Fire Protection Board, Purdue County Extension and the Rossville Schools Foundation. Lahrman is a graduate of Purdue University. Jeffrey A. Nierman has been elected chairman of the board of directors of TPB Bancorp and of The Peoples Bank, Brownstown. He replaces deceased chairman Donald L. Norman, who passed away last fall. Nierman has been a member of the board for 27 years. He has engaged in private law practice for more than 25 years and served in the Jackson County prosecutor’s office for 33 years. Nierman is a graduate of Indiana University and of the I.U. School of Law. Andrew N. Nehrt has been appointed to the board of directors of TPB Bancorp and of The Peoples Bank, Brownstown, serving out the remainder of the term of the late Donald L. Norman. Nehrt is co-owner of Pro-Form Plastics Inc., A&N Investments and The Charlestown Hotel Group. A fifth-generation family farmer, he attended Purdue University. HB
