Hoosier Banker 37 PNC Bank, NA, Indianapolis, has teamed with Indianapolis Public Schools to launch PNC’s first school bank program in Indianapolis. IPS William McKinley School #39 is the first school to participate. The in-school bank is to be staffed by student bank tellers. Students open bank accounts and take deposits from classmates. School staff deliver the deposits to a participating PNC branch, to be deposited into the students’ accounts. The program encourages elementary and middle-school students to take an interest in saving and banking and through hands-on experience, age-appropriate workshops and other related activities. PNC provides free minor savings accounts for each participating student. As a leading global provider of entity management services, we offer you advantages few others can match.
